Day 310...

I've mentioned this once or twice before...

but I absolutely adore my sweet cat, Stella...

who waits by the door for me to come home from work.

who nudges me gently when she wants to snuggle.

who nibbles on my arm if I'm not petting her enough.

who sleeps by my head and snuggles against my shoulder while I sleep.

who does not observe any kind of respect for my personal bubble.

and who looks absolutely adorable when she is getting the blissful belly rub.

Day 286...

I love kitty hugs in the morning...little paws reaching up to tap my hand and wrap gently around my arm. kitty chin in the air for the good scratching. kitty belly exposed for a tummy rub. 

Stella is a funny cat. 

She was very aloof for the first couple of months after we took her in. Then, one day, she looked at me, jumped in my lap, got comfy and fell asleep whilst purring. It's like she suddenly realised, "hey! human! I totally love you! na'nite." 

She has since relaxed into a talkative snuggle fiend; a belly rub loving fanatic; a sassy, sweet, sleep-on my shoulder kinda gal. 

She's a soulmate.

Day 267...

I love my super snuggle-puff Stella. 

She's been ridiculously cuddly lately...it's terribly endearing and makes me fall in love with her sweet kitty face a bit more each time she hunkers down for a major snuggle-fest.
