I spent several years in Washington apple country, which taught me to be a bit of an apple snob.
I miss the scent permeating the air in the fall. I miss homemade cider and apple butter.
Earlier this week a co-worker invited me to take an afternoon break and walk down the street to the coffee shop for a cup of cider. The coffee shop carries cider from Huber's.
I'm picky about my apple cider. It has to be perfectly tangy. not too sweet. and just the right amount of spice.
and ohmygawd! it was!
I am officially addicted.
and I've been told Huber's also has the most amazing apple butter. I wish I had some now...it's the perfect crispy-cold morning for toast smothered in apple butter.
